Rooflights

There is no substitute for natural light when it comes to brightening up your home’s interior. Most extensions with flat roofs can be gloomy or make other adjacent rooms dark. With every EPDM roof improvement there is the opportunity to bring a massive transformation to a room that doesn’t need to be wired in to a light switch.

Coming in an array of designs, sizes and brands to suit a customer’s budget, in most cases, our rooflights can be fitted with minimal changes to the existing roof’s structure. Whether it be a small dome or a long lantern, the products we use offer a stunning finish both inside and out, leaving behind a vibrant living area.

Each installation is done with care and consideration regarding weight distribution. A rooflight is effectively a hole in a roof in terms of structure and a roof light or lantern can easily crown a joist (sagging) over time if not installed correctly. Incorrect pitches can also lead to problems along with shallow upstands and general finishing of the seals that they require. There are also factors such as heat transmission between the outside air and internal temperatures, where the choice of double glazed/skinned and triple glazed/skinned can be critical.

We believe that this is where experience really does come into play. An Anglian RoofCare rooflight installation is done to withstand all weather types, weight distribution and thermal optimum balance.
